Now End Of Time is actually a new refreshing sound. It does however use the same sample as the Drake song "Dreams Money Can Buy" does [Jai Paul--- google him.] **Is this a new trend? Diddy Dirty Money sampled "Major Lazer"; the same sample for Girls) I feel like there's some horns.. drums.. Feels very summertime love anthem. So African. I kind of love it. Can you imagine my utter embarrassment when I FIRST heard the new Beyonce "track"?! I-- THE biggest Beyonce fan in the state of Texas. I call Bey my fuckin SISTER... & then I heard "(GIRLS) Who Run the World" or whatever... Grrr. I damn near pissed my pants. I HATE that young shit. I thought after a few listens, I'd love it. Eh, not even. *sigh* I was stanning HARD for my girl. The weeks of anticipation. I got a new summer weave. I just knew I was gonna be doing Bey choreo hard in the club... Even after seeing the video I was thinking that Bey could do a little bit MORE. I expected so much from my girl. Just knew she was gonna do it BIG for Summer 2011.. Now i'm here looking lost. My newest obsession?? Jhené Aiko . Yes I remember her as the cousin lil sis or whatever from one of the B2K boys back in the day.. She had this song "No L.O.V.E" that I randomly blurt out--- "Who da hell is this calling me a 2:26 in the morning, crack of dawning got me yawning..." [Nice lil play on Biggie...] but thats about it. Forgot about her musically until last week. On twitter stumbled upon everyone quoting her songs.. RT'n her. Basically all on her. So I rolled my eyes and downloaded the mixtape expecting to delete it after a quick run through. Shocker. I have YET to delete it. I actually love it. The grammy's were quite interesting this year. Your favorites didn't win. Many upsets. Possibly the biggest being the Best New Artist category where Esperanza Spalding beat out Justin Bieber & Drake. Everyone was like WHO?! And I'm like "Do you NOT remember the Prince tribute at the BET Awards?" (I guess everyone paid more attention to Alicia 12 month pregnant ass climbing on top of that piano-- which Gwyneth Paltrow did this year when she performed "Forget You" with Cee-Lo this year. Nothing on Ms Keys though). But then I remembered that MOST people don't know who she is besides us natural haired ladies. Please google Miss Spalding. She's very talented. A real musician. May not be the most popular to you because you only listen to popular music.
